Die neuen DAVIS-Konsolen werden diese Firmware bereits installiert haben. Alle älteren können mit dem üblichen "Hardware-Updater" auf den Stand gebracht werden, dass diese in Zukunft via Datalogger (Weatherlink) upgedatet werden können.

Davis-Schweiz (ostechnology) bietet zusammen mit SwissWetter.ch einen Updateservice an. Für pauschal CHF 120.-- (inkl. Rücksendung) kann die Konsole auf den neuesten Stand gebracht werden.

NOTE: This firmware is only for Vantage Pro2 Wireless Consoles (#6312 or #6312OV)

This firmware release has the following changes:
1. Added the capability to load future firmware directly from a PC to the console/datalogger without the use of an Updater. (see note below).
2. Implemented automatic gain adjustment in radio circuitry.
3. Added background noise (BGN) number to radio diagnostic screen.
4. Modified repeater setup key combination to 2ND and WIND instead of just WIND.
5. Modified the battery voltage threshold for reporting low console battery status to 3.5v.
6. Fixed problem where temperature on Temp/Hum stations would not dash out when reception was lost.
7. Implemented new daylights savings schedule effective 2007.

Note: This "direct from PC" capability requires that you use an Updater with the latest Updater Firmware (dated December 1, 2005). To make sure that your Updater is equipped with the correct Updater firmware consult the firmware sticker on the Updater for the date.
